The figa sign is a hand gesture that uses a thumb wedged in between two fingers. The gesture is most commonly used to ward off the evil eye. It has been used at least since the Roman Age in Southern Europe and parts of the Mediterranean region, including in Turkish culture. 

These various coloured figa hand pendant charms are one inch in length. They are made of hard coloured enamel and 18k gold filled. The available colours are black, red, pink and blue.
