Adimú Gbogbó Tén'unjé Lukumi
Miguel "Willie" Ramos, Ilari Obá, Obá Oriaté Lukumi and olorisha (priest) of Shangó, is a native of the town or Regla near Havana. Raised in New York, he was ordained into the Lukumi priesthood at the age of thirteen, his family's religious tradition for five generations. Ilari Obá has been an active Obá Oriaté (master of ceremonies for Lukumi ordinations and other rites) for more than thirty years. He has dedicated his life to the study Lukumi/Yoruba culture and religion as practised in Cuba, the Cuban diaspora, and Brazil.
